What is the difference between Vegetarians and Vegans??
I really don't know my friends is Vegan but i dont know what it is
Answers:
A vegetarian- someone who doesnt eat meat or fish (anything that is an animal)
A vegan - doesnt eat any product that has come form an animal (mainly because of the mistreatment of animals, sometimes because they think it is not natural to drink another animals milk- animals only drink milk from their species) this includes eggs, milk, cheese, butter, honey, etc.
pescetarian- someone who eats meat but not fish (either they are just becoming vegy or like fish or becasue fish may have a btter life free in the sea first!!!)
hope that helps.
when your friend comes round you can buy her soya prducts/ rice milk, and vegan burgers, etc x
vegetarians just dont eat meat vegans dont eat dairy cheese meat eggs anything like that
Vegetarians don't eat meat
Vegans don't eat meat and also derivates (milk, eggs, ...)
Vegans avoid all animal products. No dairy, no meat, no leather products etc.
yay! i know this one ok a vegatarian is some one that doesnt eat meat but a vegan is more strict with what they wat like they wont eat milk cheese or other products that come from animals where the vegatarians just dont eat the meat
Vegans do not touch or eat anything close to animal, they are strict vegetable and salad eaters, whereas a vegetarian allows fish and chicken into the mix.
it mean u ONLY eat vegetables and veetarian means u dont eat meat simple
Vegetarians don't eat meat, and vegans don't eat meat, milk, eggs, any animal products.
Veganism (also known as strict vegetarianism or pure vegetarianism), as defined by the Vegan Society, is "a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude―as far as is possible and practical―all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose."[1] A vegan (one who practices veganism) does not consume or use animal products, notably meat, fish, poultry, eggs and dairy products.[2] People become vegans for a variety of reasons, including ethical concerns for animal rights or the environment, as well as perceived health benefits and spiritual or religious concerns.[3][4]
vegetarians eat no meat, poulty or fish, but some do consume milk and eggs. Vegans do not eat anything that comes from an animal, including leather, wool, etc. Vegans do not use products that were tested on animals, or harm animals in any way
vegetarians just stay away from meats, some don't consider fish meat, don't know why. Vegans won't touch anything that comes from animals.
A true vegan doesn't touch anything that came from an animal, no only no milk, etc. like the previous answer. But, in addition, no wearing of a leather belt or shoes, as they come from the animals skin.
Vegetarians don't eat meat, vegans don't eat meat or any products derived from animals (cheese, butter, eggs, etc). All vegans are vegetarians.
Generally vegetarians have a plant-based diet. The difference between them is what else they include.
Vegan - nothing, some don't even wear fur, or use products that involve anything to do with animals. Even derivatives.
lacto vegetarian - adds dairy.
lacto-ovo vegetarian - adds eggs and dairy.
pesco- vegetarian - adds fish.
Anyone else just likes to be called a vegetarian, they are in denial of their carnivoristic habits.
Tips:

3. she probably has soymilk with her cereal and won't eat some cereals because they are milk-based
4. she might not eat honey, this one is contested
5. frying her food in pigfat/ cowfat is a no-no
6. no margarine, unless its the soy kind
7. ...generally she eats different.
.hope this helps!
Most vegans are insane, while vegetarians just don't eat meat.
