I am a vegetarian/pesitarian (2 weeks now)!!! And I have a question?
Im doing really well maintaining this new lifestyle but Im having a hard time with not filling full. I don’t know if its more of a mind thing. After I eat a meal I still fill hungry. I have been loading up on carbs to fulfill me but this is not good. Please tell me your experiences and if you have any ideas to help me. Thanks

It is likely just a mind thing. I combated it by learning to eat slower. If takes the mind 20 minutes to signal the stomach that it is full. If you gulp down a meal, the mind doesnt have the time to signal the stomach. Now, I try to chew carefully, and enjoy each bite, giving the texture, taste, etc some thought. It really helps-now, I eat several small meals throughout the day, and my body needs much less food. Also, meat stays in the stomach longer than veggies and grains do, causing the stomach to stretch. You likely just need time for your stomach to get back to its normal size. Try eating small meals throughout the day. Have a handful of nuts, sunflower or pumpkin seeds, and raw veggies and fruits
Well I don’t eat red meat so I eat Boca Burgers and Morning Star foods. I am full after I eat them and I enjoy eating tofu with mixed vegetables with soy sauce. I fry it. I hope that helps some :)
The thing for me is to eat carrots or celery sticks, have a bag handy during the day and between meals, soon you will feel full have meals, it just takes time. Patience my child, patience.
try eating foods that have a higher ratio of fiber - whole grains, fruits and veggies like carrots, celery, apples, pears, etc... fiber rich foods will help you feel full. also, drink more water than you have in the past. that will help as well. don't worry so much about "carbs" unless you are eating foods that are high in refined flour and sugar - pastries, processed/sweetened cereals, white bread... carbohydrates from fruits and vegetables are a good thing (just don't eat too many potatoes... everything in moderation).
er easy
i dunno what you're eating but if you feel hungry drink alot of water, it'll make you feel full
or eat 1 or 2 handful of nuts and seeds, such as sunflower, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, almond
or eat some fresh fruit until full
or eat some raw vegg until full, ie, celery, carrots, cucumber
Carry healthy snacks with you (fruit (fresh and dried), veg, nuts).
I find I eat more frequently now that I dont eat meat. Your body has a much easier time of digesting a vegetarian diet.
Look around the internet! There's tons of vegetarian recipes out there. What the hell is a pesitarian? Sounds like some odd made up word for people who think they can still be a vegetarian and eat some type of animal...heh
There is no such thing as a vegetarian/pescetarian. A vegetarian does not eat fish. Regardless of that, eat several smaller meals a day and snack on lots of fruits and veggies. Switch to whole grain carbs if you have not already. Whole grain has more fiber and is more filling.
