Vegetarian eats nothing where an animal was killed.

A vegan eats (or wears) nothing that came from an animal.

A vegetarian may choose to eat Cheese, Milk, Eggs, etc. The may choose to avoid Gelatin, Rennet, Carmine, etc. They may or may not wear leather, wool, silk etc.

A vegan typically eschews all animal by products. This includes all derivatives such as honey, eggs, gelatin, milk, casein, etc. They usually avoid leather, silk, wool, cashmere, angora, and anything harvested from an animal, whether or not the animal was killed in the process.

But, each person follows their own drum and makes their own rules. And to be clear, a vegetarian in NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM eats fish, shrimp, oysters, scallops, crab, lobster, chicken, turkey, or other 'white' meats. : )

How are they torturing their bodies? By not forcing it to process animal products? Small & Weak? Like Joaquin Phoenix? Like Stella McCartney? Like Alicia Silverstone? Or like vegetarians Alyssa Milano, Pam Anderson, Alec Baldwin, Josh Hartnett, Toby MacGuire, Shania Twain, Russell Simmons, and the Dalai Lama? But, even if some vegans are small & weak, it's better than being obese and dying of colon cancer.

Simple, a vegetarian eats no meat. A Vegan eats nothing that an animal was part of. some go to the extreme of not eating food that was fertilized with manure.

Vegetarian is a dietary choice.
Veganism is a lifestyle choice - they will eat, use or wear nothing that comes from an animal

vegans do not eat eggs, milk or cheese because it comes from animals-no lasagne for them!! hahahahahah

Vegitarians do not eat animal products. I do believe that vegans not only EAT anything that came from animals, but also WEAR nothing that was made of animals. My mom's mother-in-law is a Vegan, and that was what she explained to me.

A vegan is a person that abstains from anything that comes from an animal like food and clothing.
A vegetarian is someone who does not eat red meat, but there are different levels, they may eat fish, poultry, or dairy, and some don't eat any meat.

Vegetarians will eat eggs and drink milk where a Vegan will not eat ANY animl by-product.

I don't know why people are saying that vegetarians eat fish or chicken etc. but not red meat.
Vegetarians do not eat anything that an animal had to be killed for. period
Vegetarians can have milk products
Vegans do not consume any animal products at all.

A vegetarian is someone who still eats some animal products such as dairy or eggs (sometimes seafood also.) Vegans don't eat any products made from or out of animals.

vegans aren't small and weak

Yeah, I suppose Prince is kind of small, he's always been short, but he has a lot of energy when he performs.
