ok i get that some people dont treat animals with the respect that they deserve but why wouldnt you eat eggs if they arent animals?

In the US now statistically 80 percent of all farms are factory farms..years ago it was only 20 percent..it is not even the killing which is in itself terrible ...but the animals suffer from the day they are born with no peace .....no comfort ....not a day of happiness ... go to http://www.farmsanctuary.org/ for info and to see pictures..so why not eggs.......for the same reason ..the chickens are so overcrowded that they cut off their beaks with a hot sharp knife so they do not kill or severely injure each other from pecking (they do this under stressful situations) many never feel the sun or see the light of day but are kept in cages piled three stories high where the can not even ever open their wings .....no one ever treats their injuries..they are starved and then kept under day light (false light ) conditions for days and even weeks sometimes to force egg production..it is a terrible life for any creature that man has been endowed with their care...this is a few reasons ..I would have to write a book to go into all of it... humans are part of the animal kingdom ..it is a shame with do not treat each other and other animals with dignity and respect ..
