All human life needs protein in varying amounts depending on the life stage we're in.(Whether the protein is vegetable or animal does not matter to our bodies) An example would be protein needs going up if one is a high energy- using athlete, or while one is pregnant or breastfeeding.
You can Google on Protein Grams and then find out what your needs are at this stage in your life.

about 40 grams of protien a day. 30 is alright. if you go a few days with only like 20 its fine. one egg has 6 grams and is called a pure protien. its good for you. you could have 2 eggs for breakfast. milk and dairy also have protien. and nuts and beans.
YOU NEED it to build muscles, and once the muscles are built, you need to keep eating protein to mantain.

and your kindey takes a hit and it'll process it and turn it into waste and not use it, so it'll be ok
i ate too much protein one time, i converted the proteins into nitrogen in my blood and too much nitrogen in blood made me sleepy, i slept for 4 days and woke up very weak and tired, i stop taking protein shakes, then i'm fine
