Is there any standard cheeses in boston that are vegetarian safe?!

Question:

Is there any standard cheeses in boston that are vegetarian safe?

im going to boston , and as a vegetarian wondering what the food is like, do places like subway and pizza places have any cheeses that are vegetarian,

Answers:
If you want to know if the cheese has rennet/lipase in it or not you always have to call the company and ask all the questions you want. I always do that to make sure. The people who work at those places don't even know what rennet is. The companies are very helpful and don't mind giving you info. Here is a link that might be useful:

You need soy based cheese right? The answer is no... all the places use milk based cheese, it's cheaper, easier to procure, and has a better shelf life...disappointing. Some day healthy stuff will be easier to get. But we will have to all spend more on food. Healthy is expensive, most people just don't have any extra cash for it.

see if they have soy cheeses...Veggie Slices cheeses (by Galaxy Nutritional Foods), are vegetarian-friendly... :)

you could also ask them to just NOT put cheese on whatever it is you are ordering.... :)
