How is banana soup cooked properly?

Cooked? I've only had Banana soup once and it was a chilled soup. Basically nothing more than Banana, soy milk and a little Cardamom.
It's rather strange but I couldn't find any Banana soup recipes at my favorite veggie recipe sites. So just for grins I ran a search at Recipezaar, the results are linked below.
