Any vegetarians in Calgary Alberta?
I'm looking for a place to buy soy products like the soy beef strips, veggie burgers and TVP. Basically if you're a vegetarian, and know a good place to shop, I'd like to here about it. I live in Banff, and the stores here seem to be phasing out the tofu sections, the selection sucks and the prices are real high. Thanks!

Luckily, times have changed in Cowtown. It's not considered quite as bizarre to be a vegetarian.
Anyway, there is a Calgary Vegetarian Society. They maintain a website, and on that website, the have information about stores that sell veg-friendly foods.

I don't know, it depends if anyone there is crazy enough to give up a nice juicy steak for bark. Doesn't sound like a fair trade for some reason...

Superstore seems to cater to the immigrant crowd more than any other grocery chain. Along with that is largely vegetarian entrees that the world's other cultures are very used to. Most of their outlets have entire aisles dedicated for this purpose. They also have Yves products and whatnot.
I have a vegetarian friend who lives in Banff and goes there whenever they come to town.
