Answers:
a) no i do not eat eggs
b) i HATE people who wear fur
c) i started to become a veggie when i started eating solid foods
d) by the time i was 8, i was a 100% veggie (only ate bacon but gave it up at 8)
e) no, i do not tell other people to be a vegetarian but i encourage them if they want to be

I have a friend who is a vegetarian and she doesn't wear fur, tells other people that they can do what they want. You just choose to become a vegetarian and she eats eggs.

There aren't really rules to your level of vegetarianism. My boyfriend for example is a vegetarian but he still eats eggs and dairy. He wears things with leather. One of my best friends is the same way but she strongly objects to the idea of wearing fur.

I have another friend that only eats fish. And the most extreme, My boyfriends friend is vegan. None of our friends ever pressure anyone to become a vegetarian, but they may make comments about the harsh practices that go on in raising chickens and cows for the sole intent of slaughter.

What you decide to do with your life and body is your own business and anyone that pressures you to DO anything or be a certain way definitely has some issues.

If you're a vegetarian, That's AWESOME. I personally am not, but hey, that's my choice.

my daughter is a vegetarian.

Yes, on eggs
NO on fur coats or anything with real fur lining.
She would not eat beef/pork as a kid, hated texture. Around 16 she gave up on chicken. so probably 4 solid years.
She does not stress it to anyone.

Do not eat eggs, Do not wear fur coats, Became vegetarian
10 years ago, I became vegetarian overnight(not jocking), I do not tell others to become vegetarian. I speak to them about it if they are interested and always bring my friends to cool vegetarian restaurants and they love it.

I wont wear real fur...within a few week I became on ...I just stopped eating meat and whenever I saw meat even though I liked the taste I thought of the POOR AND CUTE innocent animal getting slottered ...:( Made me stop for 15 years! And I still dont eat meat!

I'm a vegetarian, for about 6 months.I could of never pictured myself as one.But I'm so glad I did it.I feel great health wise, and I fell like I'm helping the environment in a small way.I don't eat eggs or drink milk. And no I do not wear any type of clothing with fur, leather, or wool.It took me almost a month to come to my decision. And I don't tell people to do the same.I answer there question about it.I not the type of person to erg something on people. "What ever flouts your boat" I always say.

no eggs
no fur coats
6 months to get used to it give or take
yes, but very nicely, and only if i feel their live is at stake
i have a friend who does not drink water, so i nagg him to drink water, same goes if someone eats posion and i would speak out

I eat eggs
I do not wear fur coat
I became a veg almost 8 months ago
I didn't really tell people, they found out. For example when one of my friends ask if i wanted a chicken sandwhich i told her i was a vegetarian. I only tell when they ask.
Are you a vegetarian by the way?

yes
no
when I was 14, (over 10 years ago) I just decided I thought it was the best choice
a year, on and off
I have asked my bf before but thats it. (and my bf is not)

1.No I haven't eaten eggs since I was ten
2.No I don't really have any to wear them
3.I became a vegetarian by myself at the age of three (i recently just turned 14)
Although my mom didn't want me to I stopped eating meat in a day because I saw blood in it (I know weird). I would eat maybe a piece of fish until I discovered it was meat. For some reason I never got sick, although it's bad for you to just stop eating meat.
4.I have never tried to convince anyone to do something that's not natural to them. This is natural to me, I don't even desire meat in the least bit.

p.s. I don't even like animals though and also I only tell people I'm a vegetarian when they ask me why I'm not eating the chicken sandwich or whatever.

As a vegetarian I eat eggs and milk, but I've been trying to eat less and less, one day maybe I'll reach that golden realm of veganism.

I don't wear fur coats, partly because I'm too poor.

It was easy for me because my whole family were vegetarians. I was 5 at the time.

Only in jokes of if they're complaining about high cholesterol.

I don't eat eggs straight (ie scrambled eggs...hard boiled) If it's an igrediant in something then yes I do.
No, I have never worn a fur coat in my life and don't plan on it
I became a vegetarian when I was 13 (four years ago)
It only took a day become a vegetarian. I just went cold turkey.
No I never force my beliefs or opinions on anyone, and that includes what I eat.

For me, becoming a vegetarian was a personal choice, but not a hard one. As a child I was considered odd because I didn't like hamburgers or beef in general, didn't like pork, didn't like chicken, fish or turkey and would beg for more vegetables at dinner. I even liked lima beans and brussel sprouts as a young child! Imagine that! I eat egg whites, I don't where fur, I became vegetarian at 14 (26 now). I pretty much always was one. I will not push my views on anyone. I have a friend that does that, or tries to and it drives me nuts. She's with PETA and I think she goes WAY overboard!

I was vegan for a year, so I didn't eat eggs for a year... then I went to southern Brazil for a month, and I had to start eating dairy and eggs again because I wasn't getting enough nutrition down there... but I've been a vegetarian for a total of almost 3 years... and I still eat eggs and dairy (except milk, I drink rice milk). I became vegetarian overnight on a whim. Seriously. I don't push vegetarianism on anybody, but if they're interested, I'll definitely talk to them... a lot of people actually try to pressure me into eating meat again... for 3 years... it gets old.

oh, and I don't wear fur or leather or anything made from an animal.

i eat eggs
i don't wear fur coats
i became vegetarian about 2 years ago
i became a vegetarian overnight
i don't tell others to become vegetarians (it's their decision)

Eggs: yes

Fur coat: no, but I have a few fur-trimmed and fur-lined things. I don't see it as much different from leather, and, being Canadian, I have a hard time buying the notion that fur is always wrong. It looks silly when it's worn in the city; considerably less so in the rural north.

When/how long: I was raised vegetarian; I've never been anything but.

Do I tell other people to be vegetarian: no. I doubt that works very well.

i eat eggs in the sense that they are ingedients in many sweets. don't wear fur or leather except for a pair of sneakers i bought before i went veggie. i became vegeterian overnight about 7 months ago, wasn't that hard. no, i don't tell to become a vegite.

Yes.
No.
June 5th, 2006.
An afternoon.
Not tell, taught them benefits and facts of the lifestyle.

1.) No chicken periods for me
2.) Noooooo... I have cats!!! Of course, I don't wear any kind of animal skin
3.) 20 I think
4.) After a couple of years of feeling quite guilty over my meat eating, I went to bed and decided not to eat it again, and I haven't
5.) Nope; their dinner is none of my business, and my dinner is none of theirs.... I just wish people wouldn't torment me about my dinner. Seriously, is my pasta without meat really that Earth-shattering?

:)

Thanks. This was fun.

Since age 29

Took two years to fully convert
to veggie. 3rd year switched
to vegan.

I cohost potlucks and do outreach
(Adopt a College), and fundraising
for Farm Sanctuary.
It's done on a voluntary , come if you want,
take a leaflet if you want, or participate if you
want basis. I don't force it on anybody.
I'm a vegan not an evangelist.

I don't talk about vegetarianism at
work, during family get- togethers

want info at one of these places
you have to squeeze it out of me.
