Do energy drinks have animal adreniline in them?!

Question:

Do energy drinks have animal adreniline in them?

I heard they did.. i dont really buy it.

Answers:
I think you are referring to taurine, which originally was derived from Bulls bile (hence the name taurine=Taurus)
However taurine to day is easy to manufacture synthetically, much cheaper, and in the large quantities they use it, would be hard to get from animal sources.
I have contacted a few different energy drink companies including Red Bull and Wide Open and they are all synthetic Taurine.

no,energy drinks usually contain sodiums and potassiums which in return make your nervous system work better. I wont get into the science of that but have you ever heard the myth"dont eat a banana before bed" or "when taking certain drugs if you eat a banana before hand the drug hits you faster" because it is very rich in potassium. Hence why energy drinks work they just get your nervous system flooded and overactive.

Some energy drinks contain taurine, which was first discovered in the bile of oxen in the 1800's. Today it is made synthetically.

LOL!!!!! Energy drinks only have lots of sugar, caffeine, and sodium. You can't really ingest adrenaline, whether human or animal or whatever, and get an energy boost from it.

No, lucazade products are vegan - i checked a few weeks ago by writing to GSK for a similar question.
