No..fish is an animal..vegetarians do not eat animals. Eggs found at the supermarket have never been nor will they ever be embryos since they have never been fertilized.

no, hahaha owned

no, but don't worry it's not the end of the world!!!

how can be that
a vegetarian refers to aperson who donot eat any animals

No... because fish is still a type of meat... sorry

i'm a vegetarian in between meals

Yes Vegetarians are aloud to eat chick and fish.
But there is one called Aquarian whicch means u eat meat just not read meat.
Help it helps...Can i please be best answer :D

yes, just not while you're eating fish.

Yes, generally vegetarians don't eat red meat. Vegans have the "no food with a face" rule, including dairy of any kind.

If you eat fish then you are a pescitarian

You can call your self a vegitarian all you want. YOU ARE A CARNIVORE!

big NO!!!!fish is still meat like other meat!
but its ok to eat fish although you are vegetarian! and its actually healthy cause there are some nutrients that your body needs that u cannot get from veggie but you can only get in fish

u wud be Fishitarian

Vegetarianism
is the practice of not consuming meat, with or without the use of other animal derivatives, such as dairy products or eggs. Some vegetarians choose to also refrain from wearing clothing involving the death of animals, such as leather, silk and fur. Veganism, sometimes called "strict vegetarianism", excludes all animal products from diet and attire, whether or not this involves the actual death of an animal (dairy, eggs, honey, wool and down feathers). Vegetarians have varied motivations including religious, financial, ethical, environmental, and health concerns.

yes....you would be a Pesce-Vegetarians

I don't really know personally myself b/c I'm not a veggie, but I would think that you wouldn't be a veggie anymore b/c fish is considered meat and if fish is a sea critter, then I don't see how you would still be a veggie when a fish is a sea animal. Get what I'm sayin' jellybean?

No I don't thihnk u r

i am a vegetarian and i dont eat fish. fish is poultry along with chicken so as it is not a meat i suppose you could call yourself vegetarian- its what you belive and if you chose not to eat meat but still eat fish thats your choice and what you want to eat, dont let people tell you what you are!

I've heard that people who usually eat vegetarian with the exception of fish tend to call themselves pescatarians.

no,you cannot ,vegetarian means one who does not eat and living thing and does not harm eat also........but i think we all know that fish is a living thing........and for that of eggs it comes from hen and it contains a living thing too inside it,...................so i m in the opinion that if u have eaten fish than u are not considered to be a vegetarian.......

No. A vegetarian is someone who practices vegetarianism.
Vegetarianism is the practice of subsisting on a diet composed primarily or wholly of vegetables, grains, fruits, nuts, and seeds, with or without eggs and dairy products.

No you can't eat fish and still call yourself a vegetarian.

Eggs are unfertilized, that's why vegetarians can eat 'em.

NO YOU CANNOT EAT FISH AND STILL CALL YOURSELF A VEGETARIAN

Depends why you became a veggy. (i am also vegetarian) if it was for health reasons then it doesn't matter whether you eat fish or not. If it was for moral reasons (ie the death scenario) then you are not a vegetarian as you generally go by the 'no food with a face' rule. And by the ways vegetarians still eat eggs because they are unfertilized and could never have been chicks in the first place.

"vegetarian" is a general term encompassing a number of diets --

If you eat fish you are a "pescatarian" , if that qualifies you to still fall under the umbrella term of being a vegetarian depends on who you ask.
There are many, many different ways that people choose to practice a "vegetarian diet" -- often to the point where there is disagreement as to whether it even qualifies. There are also "ovo-lacto" vegetarians who eat eggs and dairy products (this is probably the most common). A vegan does not eat any animal products. Some still eat gelatin (yes, like Jello) and consider themselves a vegetarian. While in fact, gelatin is an animal product. Some vegetarians wear leather, some don't. And so on...
This is a personal choice for you, and whether or not it is considered to be "vegetarian" can be a matter of semantics.

if you dont eat meat, but do eat seafood, you would be a pescatarian (pesc, from picses the fish) Egss are NOT chicken embryos and more than when a woman has a period that THAT is an embryo. If the egg was never fertilized, it is nothing more than the placenta. Eggs are NOT meat. There are some great pescatarian recipe groups on yahoo groups.

Yes, you just wouldnt be considered vegan.

Well, you would be a pescitarian, a person who is a vegetarian, but eats seafood.

No, and Wile eating eggs is a horrible thing for the Chickens involved it's not comparable with eating fish in the way you are asking the question. Eggs are not sentient, they are not subjects of a life. Fish on the other hand are. Now if you want to talk about the suffering involved in each, I would have to agree that their is really no difference in eating one over the other.
