Why do animal rights focus on Animals suffering but...?

...completely IGNORE the suffering plants endure
when being cut up?

they react to negative emotion, being cut, and remember
being cut. And exibit an almost fear like response to
people who are about to harm them.

Plants percieve more than we think they do.

Everything suffers at the expense of our
need to obtain sustenance.


Answers:
Because they're hypocrites! Who are we to take away the lives of innocent vegetables? Plants have feelings too! Lettuce is Murder!

On a more serious note, ther are people who think like that, read up on fruitarians (read: fruitcakes) who'll only eat fruits that have naturally fallen from a tree, etc, or breatharians, who actuallt think they can get all their sustainence from air. There're always extremes, and if you thought vegans were nuts you'll be suprised by some of the groups more extreme than them.

plants are alive physically but not in spirit so no one cares about them.
