Do vegetarians eat dairy products, since they come from animals?!

Question:

Do vegetarians eat dairy products, since they come from animals?

Answers:
I don't see nothing wrong with eatting dairy products even if you are a vegetarian or a vegan. Taking milk from a cow does not hurt them. In fact if people didn't milk cows they would get sick. Cows were made to produce milk.

Vegetarians can eat dairy products, it's vegans who won't eat anything that comes from animals.

I'm sure they do.

Yes, vegetarians mostly eat dairy products.

Vegans are the ones who do not eat any dairy products. They do not wear leather or any types of clothing using animals, or buy anything that has been tested on animals.

Usually yes but some don't. Some consume both eggs and dairy, some choose only dairy, some choose only eggs.

Yes....

There are different types of Vegitarians
Lacto-Ovo-vegitarian who eat milk and eggs
Lacto-vegitarian who eat no meat or eggs but dairy
Ovo-vegitarians who eat eggs but no meat or milk..

Then there are vegans who eat NO animal product

not the real vegetarians.

the wannabees make that claim silly they call themselves lactavarians.

which is simply a joke.

some will, and some won't. religion defines this rule for many people. others have personal reasons.

I'm vegetarian and I eat dairy stuff but only cruelty free and organic

I think the way it works is that vegetarians do eat some dairy products; however, vegans are more strict and do not eat dairy products or anything that is an animal derivative. My good friend is a vegetarian and she explained this to me.

vegetarians can eat if they want
vegans don't

Vegetarians will eat dairy products, but Vegans won't.

it depends. a vegan will not eat any type of product derived from animals. however beyond that it varys. i'm a vegetarian and i eat dairy, but i like to limit it (a personal choice and i sometimes get a lot of lactic build up). but i would say most do

It depends on what kind of a vegetarian it is. If you are just a vegetarian, you can eat dairy products and eggs. If you are vegan, you don't eat or drink anything that has come from an animal. There are also demi-vegitarians, which aren't true vegetarians, that will eat fish and chicken from time to time.

Most vegetarians that I've known eat dairy products. Vegans do not eat dairy products.

First of all it depends up on the definition - vegetarian & Non-vegetarian. Which items are defined as Vegetarian and similarly as Non-vegetarian. In my opinion there is no cent percent vegetarian in the world. It is just they pronouce that I am a vegetarian, but not cent percent becuase some or another they may eat or drink the food /drink items that are mostly from outside home which may not have purely vegetarian. You can not trust cent percent the foodstuffs /dairy products or so that are preparing in Restaurants /Dairies are totally pure and call it vegetarian. During its preperation there may have insects & bees surrounding the area come down in it which ultimately become part of the food, but it never comes anybodie's notice.

Yes!
Actually most vegetarians eat a lot of dairy products especially yougurt. Vegetarians just don't eat meat. It's only Vegans who only eat vegetables and fruits and usually don't use any animal products.

no

Yes, they are called ovo-lacto-vegetarians meaning that they eat eggs & milk
