Make sure you get iron from somewhere, whether it be nuts or vegetables, or iron supplements.

Yes I am, but I truly HATE AND DESPISE your Nick Name.

A hard time with what? There are tons of recipe sites online and many cookbooks at bookstores.

well have u in recent times turn to vegetarian....may be that y u finding it hard.... i am very veg not by birth but in recent times gave up non veg n its not hard for me

I am not - but why on earth do you even try to be vegetarian if you find it difficult?

First you have to shop at non mainstream stores that actually offer a selection of meat substitutes. For example Whole Foods and Trader Joe's have a large selection. The other night I had some soy riblets drenched in barbecue sauce - terrific (they cost about $3 and you only pop them in the oven for 10 minutes). Also, buy a lot of veggie baloney and veggie turkey slices for quick sandwiches. There are also veggie meatballs that are very good. If you like to cook (I don't) try learning some thai or indian recipes - they have lots of vegetarian goodies in their repertoire. Good mexican food can also be vegetarian and full of protein from the yummy beans. And finally, if you don't know what to do with a chunk of tofu, dice it up and fry it in olive oil with a chopped onion, a little garlic and tomato sauce. It's so good you can eat it with bread. Of course it's simplistic, but you can go from there and start adding veggies and rice and other stuff. Good luck, I know how you feel. I became a vegetarian 2 years ago and it's difficult sometimes especially trying to find things on restaurant menus that are ok to eat.

yea, find foods you like and eat em, for example, I ate nothing but chips and salsa for a week, then i ate vegg noddle soup for 2 weeks, then vegg pizza for a week, i know it's sounds i'm retarted, but when I get the craving for a food I have to have as much of it as possible.

Yes, I am, but I just did it recentlly, so I have no pointers.

No I love my meat.

try as many recipes as you can to find the best ones. new vegetarians find it easier to use fake meats as a replacment.

good luck
