I like cutting up the fake chick'n and putting in in cesar salad. Yum! Or you could just have a sandwich.

Easy yummy recipes:

Sun Dried Tomato and Avocado Goooodness

Ingredients:

several fork fulls of sun dried tomatoes (Bella Sun Luci is my fave brand)
1/4 to 1/2 avocado (depending on how hungry you are)
wheat bread (watch out, some use milk products!)
tofu (optional)

Directions:

Toast bread (perhaps wait until other ingredients are ready).

Place desired amount of sun dried tomatoes on a small plate and microwave for approx. 35-45 seconds. When done, drain oil and pat dry (optional) and place on bread.

Slice avocado and place on vegan bread (it sometimes helps to mash it into the vegan bread to prevent sliding while eating).

Slice extra firm tofu and place on top of tomatoes.

Enjoy!

Granola

This crunchy granola has enough protein and fiber to get you through the whole day!

YieldAbout 8 cups

Time1 hour

Tools?large saucepan
?wooden spoon
?cookie sheet

Ingredientso1 c butter
o1 c honey
o1 c walnuts
o1 c raw cashews
o? c sesame seeds
o? c sunflower seeds
o1? c bran
o4-5 c rolled oats
o1 t cinnamon (optional)
o? c wheat germ (optional)
o1 c raisins (optional)

DirectionsPreheat the oven to 350°F.
Melt the butter in the saucepan, add the honey, and mix well. Stir in the seeds, nuts, and optional cinnamon. Add the bran and optional wheat germ, then add 4 c rolled oats. If the mixture is very wet and sticky, add some more oats.
Spread the granola on a cookie sheet and place on the center oven rack.

Stir every 10 minutes or so, and add the optional raisins after 20.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.

NotesAfter the granola cools, store in in a tightly sealed container or plastic bag.
This granola makes a wonderful breakfast with yogurt and some fresh fruit (berries, peaches...). Or for a snack, try just a plain handful.
You can experiment with different kinds of nuts, dried fruit, and spices to find the mix you like best.

How about a simple vegetable to go with your veggie chicken?

Get an onion, a zucchini, and a yellow squash. Chop them up.

Slice the onion fine. Use about a quarter of it. Saute it on a medium heat in about a tablespoon of cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. Sprinkle a little sea salt on it. Keeps the flavor in. Once the onion is translucent, toss in your zucc and squash. Lightly stir fry them. Add a little soy sauce or Bragg's Aminos.

YUM!

Don't try to live on pre-packaged convenience foods. You'll get sick.

Well, there's really a lot of vegetables you can put together to create good meals, and you can stir up some rice with veggies. Or fill tomatoes or mushrooms with other cooked veggies and rice, and cook that in the oven...
Cooking - vegetarian or not - is merely about creativity... And there's so many kinds of fruits and vegetables that you can turn to (and many ways of cooking them... boil, grill, etc).

Anyways, two good placed to find recipes:

http://allrecipes.com/recipes/vegetarian...

http://www.vegcooking.com/searchrecipes....

pastas
toasted sandwiches
quiche

try tofu...i know it sounds nasty but tofu is good for you and it has no natural flavor of it's own.So anything you cook it in it will absorb the flavor.and vegatables and fruits are also good.and a vegatarian is a person who has LIMITATIONS to what kind of meat they can eat.

The best part of being vegetarian is the whole other world of food you get to eat, not just fake meat stuff. Don't get me wrong they serve a propose and all, but you should really experiment with some different foods. Get an easy vegetarian cookbook, Vegan with a vengeance is good (Sorry I'm Vegan I don't know any vegetarian ones). A great site for recipes is www.vegweb.com. Anything you could imagine is on that site.

seafood is not vegetarian...yay, eh?

Here's an amusing video with some good instructions on what to eat: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=...
