They refine it or something like that using bone. I think that's the only thing thats not vegan.

Found the following on the net, from a great website helping you to check on the vegan status of all alcohols (don't be put off by the name of the website!) Link below.

Ciroc is distilled from grapes, so I would think that would be vegan. Also, there are vodkas distilled from potatoes, so if you see that on the back of the bottle, you should be good to go. :)

Westons organic cider.
I emailed them a while ago and they confirmed that all their drinks are vegan friendly.

it's true that the ingredients in alcohol don't contain any animal products, but not all alcohol is vegan as as some of the filtering processes use isinglass (fish derived) or bone char.
i had also heard that some wines used to be filtered through pigs bladders or something gross like that, but i'm not sure if that was actually true. maybe many moons ago, but i don't really know.

i just found a vegan alcohol directory - see link below. hope this helps. it seems to list companies from all over the world, which is pretty good.

I thought one of the main points of being vegetarian was not putting unnatural substances in your body?

Should you be drinking alcohol at all?

Anyway have you any idea how many small mammals and insects end up in your cereal?

noeusuperstate:
your answer was a bit ignorant considering that most people choose not to eat animal because of the pain and suffering done towards the farmed species

you should do some research

some good books are DOMINION by Matthew Scully and The Pig Who sang to the Moon by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson.

That will give you a more accurate explaination as to why people choose not to partake in the meat and dairy industry.

But at least a show of interest was evident! Keep asking questions.
