SUGAR!!!!

A vegetarian may eat anything as long as it never had a face. A vegan will not eat anything that even came from something that once had a face, such as, butter, eggs, milk.

You can eat grains, rice, wheat, millet, flax, quinoa, pasta, potatoes, flours, cornmeal, cornflour, starches, etc. There are many degrees of vegetarianism. Some eat milk egg and cheese. Some, like me, are pescatarian and eat no meat but do eat seafood and fish, and some are vegan that eat nothing that comes from an animal. You have to decide which way you want to eat, and listen to your heart. I know of many people that are veggies that eat nothing but junk foods. The term is in how its interpreted-it simply means no meat and or animal by products

First you have to know what kind of Vegetarian you are dealing with.
Swine-Polo-Ovo-Lacto-Peshi's can eat anything but beef
Polo-Ovo-Lacto-Peshi's eat Chicken, eggs, dairy, and fish and seafood
Ovo-Lacto-Peshi's eat eggs dairy and firsh
Ovo-Lacto eat only things that are "given freely" ei eggs and dairy
Vegans eat ONLY plant products, grains, beans, peas, squashes, root vegies, leaf vegies, femented bean (tofu), anything that is grown in soil they can eat.

I hope that helps

it depends on what kind of vegetarian it is. some eat eggs some don't, some eat fish some don't. another thing vegetarians have to look for is weather animal biproducts where used to make something, it's as easy as reading a label though.

I think they can eat chicken and fish.

veggie meat!

Try peanut butter sandwiches. You can make apple butter and also, try different nut butters. Potatoes can be turned into vindaloos and served over rice with nuts. Tofu burgers and mushroom burgers are available. You can grind beans into patties, e.g. falafel. Also, try substituting cans of beans in recipes calling for meat, such as enchiladas and soft tacos.

Middle Eastern, Greek, Indian and Mexican cookbooks have a lot of vegetarian recipes. So does Italian cooking. Try making Spanish rice and adding some pine nuts. You could serve lentil soup with grated parmesan cheese.

There are TONS of things you can eat. Try a website like GoVeg.net or google it. As for things you can bring to school. I used to bring a cheese sandwich on a bagel and an apple or other type of fruit. Hey, I was young and not very creative. But you can make delicious dips (like hummus) at home and bring it to school with some crackers. Salads can be a meal too. Get a delicious exotic dressing and try salads with dried fruit and nuts in them. Endless possibilities!

That depends on what type of vegetarian you are.
the obvious is they don't eat meat. However, there are different types of vegetarians.

Ovo vegetarians eat eggs, but no dairy.
Lacto vegetarians consume dairy, but no eggs.
Ovo-lacto vegetarians consume dairy and eggs.
and vegans, the most extreme vegetarian, does not eat ANYTHING concerning animals. including honey.

www.peta.org is a really good website for more information.

A vegetarian does not eat meat, fish, poultry or slaughter by-products.

There is no need to be confused.

It is that simple. Stick to this internationally accepted definition and you'll be a veggie.

cereals, nuts, vegetables, fruits...all ok. There are great recipies on the net and lots of great cookbooks. Most veggies prefer to cook from raw ingredients as it gives you the best opportunity to get great tasting nutritious food.

Ignore the wananbees that say they eat fish and are veggie. They come here all the time saying that and never learn. They just seem to want to call themselves vegetarians but in truth they are just insulting those of use who understand how to use a dictionary and have commitment.

There is no formal definition of a vegetarians that eats fish or poultry. end of.

They can eat anything that doesnt contain animal derivatives. There are loads of recipes on this website which may give you some lunch ideas : http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk...

When I was in school I used to snack on peanuts in math class whenever the teacher's back was turned. He could never guess where that crunching noise was coming from. I had to bribe my buddies with peanuts to shut them up.

I eat many things like grains, rice, potatos, bread, spaggetti, mac and chesse, yogurt, breads, pastas, and a whole lot more. FOr lunch I bring yogurt, grilled chesse, potaot salad, chips, and oreos.
