Cooking spinach?!

Question:

Cooking spinach?

Is there a way to cook dark leafy greens without losing too much iron content?

Answers:
Steam or blanch, but remember that spinach will wilt quite a bit. What looks like a huge amount of raw spinach will become a very small amount of cooked.

Saute them just until withered...

steam

Steam it but just for a few minutes. Or Blanche, dip them in boiling water just till they go limp.

Boiling them pulls out the nutrients of most vegetables.

With spinach, put it in a fry pan with some olive oil and cook over low heat until it shrinks.

No i don't like spinach.

well : yourself can try "Steam Cooking " because Spinach is
like "Brocoli,Asparigus both green ! for best results make sure
that it's been washed properly at first yes !

Blanche or steam is second best to raw. It does not take long, just long enough for it to go limp, and darken in color.

I quickly saute it in a little veggie broth and garlic. YUM
