...yet another Nobel Prize winning question. Damn.
Food keeps people alive.
What would you have us eat?
so we can survive...
Because pooping is relaxing
It's yummy and gives us energy and makes our bellies happy.
So they can take a really nice crap after wards...
lol, because its good and you get addicted
by burning what we eat, we gain energy. Energy to walk, talk, even breathe.
so that they won't starve....and so that they will have energy to live
Food provides sustinance and nutrition to our bodies. Our bodies need the energy provided by food and is important to maintain the status of a living organism.
People also eat food to experience a variety of emotions ranging from saddness to elation. Eating food to deal with or celebrate emotions can be healthy or unhealthy.
Food, for a great number of people, is also prepared and eaten to bring families and communities together for many reasons. Some expamples of those reasons are: to celebrate births, marriages, victory in battle or sport; to help an individual, family or community process various losses such as death or fire.
So, enjoy eating food it is good for you.
Some people eat to live and some people live to eat
What we define of eating is humans/animals/plants taking a substance, digesting it and transforming it into energy. Humans need to eat and convert the chemical energy to usable energy for humans. We would not have to eat if we could photosynthesize.
