Quick help!?!

Question:

Quick help!?

I don't have lemon juice for a pasta dish. Can I substitute lime juice?

Answers:
Here's my suggestion: take out a small quantity of the dish and add a few drops of lime juice. See how that works before you spoil an entire dish with something you don't like.

Also, lime juice is a bit more intense than lemon juice. You might want to dilute it with a bit of water.

probably not all depend on what it is

Probably.

lime is better than lemon in almost every instance. ENJOY!

Try it. If it tastes bad, then don't do it again. Lime will be a tad more sour. Recipes are meant to be changed. Heck you could start a trend. Lime instead of lemon. Me gusta!

ya

You probably could sub any acid(lemon juice, lime juice, orange, vinegar so on).

yes
lime is better then lemon

Yes. You'll get a similar acidic bite, but with a slightly different flavor.

Recipes are meant to be adapted by the user. Generally, you use the recipe as it's written the first time, then sit back and say it could use a bit more of this or a bit less of this or how about if I add this, even though it's not in the recipe. Keep track of your variations, find the combination that works best for you, and that's how you make it your own.

Don't do this with baking, though. Baking is done with formulas, not recipes.

i wound't
