What is tofu?
well im becoming a vegetarian. ive been one since new years but i need to know how to get the same nutrients and etc.
my brother said to try tofu. he said its good.
but i never had it. can somebody give me more explanation on tofu or some easy recipes i can use with it?? please and thanks!

Tofu is soy milk protein in a curd. It can be cut up in salads or in casseroles. The protein from it is used to make the meatless hotdogs and other meatless meats. It is used in oriental cooking. You might find recipes by checking under oriental cooking. It has little taste so is useful in many different dishes.
Get a good variety of fruits and vegetables and nuts and seeds and sprouts and whole grain breads. Vegetable protein is incomplete, that means it does not have all the essential amino acids, so you need to get a good variety to get all the amino acids you need.

Tofu is what shows what a practical Joker God can be. It doesn't it doesn't have much taste. But when you plan a whole meal around it, I find it leaves me unfulfilled. Try it, is what I say.

Don't cook your own tofu for your first try of it. get it at a Chinese restaurant (it's not healthy there, but at least it will be prepared correctly and you won't be turned off of it forever).
Once you see what tofu can be like, there are a lot of recipes using tofu. I use it in everything from main dishes to pies.
Tofu is made from soy. (not baby seals even though some people may think so. ;) )
I usually use it for substitution for meat like in spagetti you could use tofu instead of ground beef. It has absolutly no taste. Like you could use tofu in practically anything. they even have tofu icecream now a days.
tofu are made from soy, it doesnt have any taste to it. but however, if u pour some soy sauce with a few drops of sesame oil into it, it'll taste great. u can eat it with congee. which is made out of rice. or just plain.
Solidified soy milk, that's all it is.
Soy milk is just bean-milk from soya beans.
Just add gypsum (china) or nigari (japan) to it to thicken.
Tofo is food without ay taste in it. So, you have it with bread and stuff that have tastes in it.
