Answers:
hi, airtight bottle or jar. put in cool & dry place.

Honey,
Honey should only be preserved Glass Bottle or Jar

In the refrigerator

It sounds like your honey needs to be tossed! From your description your honey is contaminated with mold or bacterial spores (possibly botulism) and is not safe to eat.

Store bought honey will keep for a long, long, LONG time. It seems that your harvest has been contaminated with something, though. It is in your best interest to throw that out and start over.

To chase the bees, we usually blow little smoke and not fire. Do not keep the honey in refrigerator. It becomes sugar. If it becomes sugar, keep the bottle in hot water till it melts. Store in a glass bottle and not plastic bottle. Keep the honey in sublight for 2 to 3 days. Let the air bubble escape from the honey and then store it in bottle in room temperature. You must ahev pressed too hard so that the wax might have got mixed with the honey.

Put in airtight bottle or jar, in cool & dry place.

Honey itself is a natural preservative and you need not add any other preservative. I think you have taken the flame very close and melted the wax, which mixed and contaminated the honey. Some part of the honey may also be exposed to direct flame and might have disintegrated and this is responsible for emanating the bad odour.

Extracting honey and then cleaning and preserving honey is certainly not an easy task. Nnaravind is looking for ideas on the same. Any Volunteers with ideas?

i preserve honey in the bottle

when you took honey from the beehive first and fore most thing you want to filter and heat..and it will retain for years and years

Just how artificial this world is getting! Honey, and preserved!? My goodness, Nature gives us things fresh and we...God forbid. Human beings in this world seem to be the worst species.

Dont eat the damn thing!!!!!!

Honey stays for ever, the trick is to not let other bio-material get in it while removing honey you need to master the technique.

If you have proper equipment you can use the comb again, bee Will come back once the smoke clears, even natural hive can be care fully wired back. Must leave some honey for them to come back to.

Get a book and read up on it. If you are in USA, USDA will give you this info free you have to pick it up or send a self address envelope.

It may be on Internet also, on USDA site.

A foul smell indicates spoilage so discard it and next try storing In a
air tight jar or glass bottle which is dry and clean.

EAT IT!!!!!!!!!!

because of its high saturated sugar conent it can be stored for longer period, honey dont get contaminated quickly, only problem is with ur flame method, there is other problem when there is more sugar content it pay way for bacterial growth,so dont consume that product,u can recollect honey and store in well tight jar.dont stop taking honey it is equal to 40 orange.half kg egg,etc
