Who has given them the right to Kill other living beings .There are millions of them butchered daily throughout the world.Animals are reared for human consumption..
Why do we complain and take a moral stand when a Human being is killed by an Animal accidently .

I don't know. I am morally opposed to killing animals for human use. It makes me sick when they put down an animal because it attacked someone. Especially when the animal was provoked. It is just sad and stupid.
Right. They deserve respect, too. God gave them life as well.
What I don't understand is why meat-eaters are often the ones who are so outspoken against abortion. A foetus is surely going to feel less pain than a sentient animal.
To answer your question, I believe people complain when humans are killed by animals because we are anthropentric. We believe it is our divine right to take the lives of other creatures.
Because we eat them for survival and food. You cant live a healthy life without meat. Its part of the food chain.

No. If animals a re killing humans today its because their habitats and hunting grounds are being destroyed by the humans.
I HATE it when vegeterians cite KILLING or TAKING LIVES as a reason for looking down on non vegeterians simply because the vegeterians are also a party to the same deed. PLANTS are also LIVING BEINGS so when you consume vegetables and fruits you are still eating something which has life.
Being Vegeterian is GOOD I advocate it too BUT only because it is a Healthy alternative to a meat diet certainly NOT because its immoral to "kill animals " for food.
We complain and take a moral stand because we are able, and because we are the dominant species. The human race has come to see that we are at the absolute top of the food chain. Whether this is correct or not does not matter. As of now we have the power to overcome whatever natural forces threaten us. Mother nature forces us to use that ability.

Many people just want to do as they were taught as they grew up--- never really question the status quo. Becoming a vegetarian requires deep thought and then a certain amount of sacrifice in order to follow through on your convictions.
The ignorant will always chose their immediate sense gratification, with no thought about the effects of their choices--- on themselves, the environment, and other living beings.
BTW, biblical scholars now state that in the Bible, (Genesis) that statement was incorrectly translated. It should have read that man has dominion over animals (just as parents do over their children--- meaning to care for them) He gave every herb and every fruit and it shall be as "MEAT" to you, was actually supposed to be as "FOOD" to you. i.e. take care of the animals--- eat the grains, fruits, herbs, plants, milk and honey
Firstly i respectyour soncern for the animals that live around us . however the issue is raised when a human is attacked is BECAUSE WE ARE HUMANS WHO WOULD LIKE TO LIVE SAFER LIVES!!!!!
Secondly , people killing animala for consumtion legally is righ to survive but killing them illegally is what need to b stopped . this happens because there is a demand .

Because people have wrong minds. Example: they watch rated R movies. Example: They drive cars that add to global warming. Example: They kill animals. Yet when they die, they don't think that they are getting paid back for what they did. They think that there is a psycho animal on the loose and- lol- it should be shot.

We don't take a moral stand against animals killing humans. Animals do not have a sense of morals, so how could we hold them to any kind of moral standard?
Animals do not kill (normally) other animals (or people) for fun. They do so either for food or due to a threat (real or perceived). Humans should be the same way: go ahead and shoot an animal that is a threat to your safety or if you are going to eat it, but don't shoot it for fun.
As for that BBC story, I find it funny - 30% of people who call themselves vegetarians eat chicken or fish. Therefore, 30% of vegetarians do not seem to know that chicken and fish are meat.

Ok, I'm a strict vegetarian and agree with you that it is wrong, however, I actually disagree with what you are kind of saying. I personally don't like the whole killing something else and then eating it, but I'm not saying it's wrong. Look at the animal kingdom. a food chain is there because it's the way the world works, other animals eat other animals and humans are animals, we are entitled to eat other living things if we desire, we don't have too, we don't depend on animals as we can survive easily without meat, but it is our right ordained by God, even Jesus ate meat, if you follow that, but you get the point if not. Anyway, my choice for being vegetarian follows more under what you said about animals being reared for human consumption. THIS is wrong. the way we treat animals is horrendous, meat eater or not, you can't deny that. Animals are not here to serve us, they are here to live among us in peace and have just an equal right to this world as we do, we created money and buildings that take up space and build our ego, not God. The Human race ought to be ashamed of ourselves for what we are doing to this whole planet, not just the poor animals.

If not, then nature. Do you complain when you see a lion killing a gazelle? I'm guessing not, it's natural to them. So why then do you complain when a human, which is also a meat eater by nature, also kills an animal for food? It's not as if people get their kicks out of it, but they do if for food, which in my opinion is more than a good enough reason.
A lion kills food so its species can survive; and that is how humans have always been too. We've always needed meat to survive and while that may not be strictly true now, meat is still a great source of food and it is still needed for good nutrition. There aren't enough veggie alternatives to feed the whole world, when you consider the nutrients that they'll need.
Similarly, a man complains when an animal kills a human because we are still looking out for our own kind. Humans need to survive too and if a bear starts killing people humankind will want to kill it to protect themselves. If you went and shot a lioness I don't think the rest of the pride would be best pleased either.

Vegetarianism definately doesn't save any animals.

This is true, animals in the wild invariably die violent deaths. the closest an animal will get to dying of old age is being picked by a predator because it it old and therefore an easier to target. Farmed animals invariably lead happier, healthier, less stressful lives than those in the wild.
