Where can I find Vegetarian gelatin in NYC?
I need un flavored gelatin powder for making a dessert.

NYC is a big place, so hit the health food store section of your phone book! and there are vegan substitutes for gelatin! nowadays, there are vegitarian and vegan replacements for just about anything and everything. you just have to look for it. with the advent of the web, you can shop all around the world or around the corner. if dessert is good, i'll be over around 7!

Gelatin is not vegetarian. period
they do make a vegetarian equivalent to gelatin(it isnt make of animal bones but ends up jelly like in most recipes in the same way) Unfortunately i havent been able to find it in a long time o if anyone knows I'd like o find out too! (Any in the Calgary area)
