Would a vegetarian enjoy beef?!

Question:

Would a vegetarian enjoy beef?

We have guests over for dinner tomorrow night, and one of them is a staunch vegetarian. But does this mean she won't enjoy a joint of beef? Or should I make something else for her, like a green salad?

Answers:
are you thick or what?

best you stick to a bit of lamb,or pork,i dont think vegetarians are keen on beef

hide the beef under her sprouts...

no beef. when im around meat that my family is eating in front of me, it makes me feel very nauseous. anything meat free is good. no chicken or fish either.

Get a spit, then go buy a Pig, put the pig on the spit and keep it turning while she is there, once she sees it, she'l never be a vegetarian again!!

No,they don't.
?

feed her a big steak

Obviously if she's a vegetarian she's not going to eat any beef.

Make her a salad and include vegetables and fruits into the meal. A salad, mashed potatoes, veggie tray...

only if the joint of beef is vegetarian. Lol

No!give it to her. Tell her to knock herself out on the new Linda Mcartney soya joint!

very much!

i think you should go for the salad casue they don't like meat at all

Dork.

if ur friend is a vegetarian since a long time ago and she didn't eat meat at all serving her now will make her feel sick.....the human body needs to adapt slowly especially about what we eat.....better u serve her some salad like said....or anything vegetarian.....u don't need to stick to meat only.....u can try some specialities form vegetables....u can cook them in many ways and will look nice.....or u can try a pasta salad.....are so many good things that don't include meat....hope u can decide what is best...bye bye

no

make something else for her. People choose to be vegetarian on choice, some do it for religous reasons, and some feel better about their new diet.
So by offering beef to her , if she is religous she would not touch the meal. She will feel guilty if she has it or that she will feel bad because she had to reject the meal.
Another thing is if it is her diet, then still she might not have the beef, because later on it wont go well with her stomach or she will physically fall a bit ill for having the beef.

Another thing is she would be upset for ignoring that she is a vegetarian.

Therfore, it is better to make vegetarian meal for her, because that shows how high you hold your guest, it shows your courteusy towards them and it makes them feel welcomed.

If they were open enough to try - I think they'd love it. My ex was vegetarian for 11 years (she didn't like treatment of bloodstock) and munched into a chilli con carne without realising, and two weeks later we couldn't stop her.

But I wouldn't suggest deliberately offering a veggie meat.

However, if we aren't supposed to eat animals why are they made of meat?

You might have a big problem serving a vegetarian ...beef!! I have a friend that is allergic to red meat so if your guest is from that category might be prepared with some antihistamines pills and a quick call to the ambulance. Make your guest feel welcomed to your dinner, get some nice vegetarian food, this days are plenty of shops specialized with a good variety of vegetarian dishes.

If everybody else eats meat....fu*k her, she can have a bowl of carrots. Why are you inviting a cabbage head over for dinner for anyway. Is she a spouse or girlfriend? Is so tough sh*t on her, don't come if you don't like it. Your not a restraunt are you? Why should you have to spend money and time to make a special meal for her? If she invites you over for dinner, is she going to BBQ you a nice thick juicey rib-eye.....NO....she's going to offer you, some soy sh*t., but if you say anything about that your an as*hole. I say she has what everyone else has and can pick and choose what she wants, I wouldn't make anything 'special' for her.

A big fat rare juicy staek will do the trick , but it has to be rare , veggies just love that.

a salad would be fine. or try making her one of those Boca meats.

i am a strict vegetarian and the answer would be to ask what she would like to eat because gravy is also a no-no or anything that has also been near to animal flesh. best of luck.

give her a big bloody steak, tell her it's 100% vegetables. being the gullible fools that vegetarians are, she'll eat it and probably tell you it was the best meal she's had in her life

no such thing as a "staunch" vegetarian. your guest is either a vegetarian, or not.

I never heard anyone make this comment here before. your imagination and intelligent value-add here really amazes me.

I bow to your greatness.

Annie M has the correct answer, you should give her your 10 points. although i think her typing is dodgy as i think her finger slipped onto the "or" when she was typing "ic"

Do you have a brain at all? Of course they won't enjoy beef, give them salad!

no, she won't, she won't eat fish, meat, so you can made food from vegetable for her, there is a food made from soya pea, i think she will like it

Make something else. Offering meat options may be interpreted as disrespect.

Isn't the real question why is anyone coming to have dinner with you? lol
