Answers:
I'm a vegetarian and when I became vegetarian I lost 4 pounds within the first week. You have to be careful though because it's easy to get caught up in easy proteins like cheese and peanut butter that are high in fats and make you gain weight. I'd suggest eating low-fat cheeses, beans, and things like veggie and boca burgers. These are high in protein but much lower in fats.
I'm vegetarian myself and I'm really thin. As long as you get enough protien, you'll lose weight for sure :]
Yes, you will more than likely loose weight. But, be very careful. There are 20 vegetable protiens...9 of them we need. And, the amino acid that is found in meat, one of the most important protiens we need, must be obtained by combining two different vegetable protiens. Have fun and good luck on your endeavor!
well not as much as u would eating healthier and exercising.only because u aren't getting the protein u r suppose to be getting.
Yes, but becoming a vegetarian should be a moral decision and not a weight-loss decision.
You can just as easily lose weight by cutting out just the sweets and eating more healthy meats such as chicken and fish.
You might even become your nickname. Vegetarianism is nonsense
