try allrecipes.com---they have hundreds of veg friendly recipes! there is an assortment of seeds and nuts out there, tofu, seitan, tempeh, beans and legumes,eggs and dairy if you're willing! i though i would really miss meat, but i'm more and more amazed by how much i don't miss it!

tofu, soy, nuts, PEANUTBUTTER!!!!!, seeds, etc. are good sources of protien.

it's great! vegan though, but the recepies are amazing. I've made about 30 different recepies form there and I loved all of them. highly recomend it to you.

I check http://www.fatfree.com/ for some really interesting vegetarian recipes. Also, for many recipes, it's not hard to convert it to vegetarian/vegan, with a substitution here and there.

Good protein substitutes are soy products, beans and legumes, and if you're not vegan, egg whites.

Try www.vegweb.com....It has a ton of really great recipes. I love this site.

Good subs for protein are beans, rice, nuts, and of course tofu.
