What is the difference between vegetarians and vegan?!
What is the difference between vegetarians and vegan?
I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm just curious.
Answers:
vegans don't eat any animal products, like they don't eat cheese, milk, eggs, etc., while vegetarians eat dairy, they just don't eat dead animals (meat.)
a vegetarian cannot eat meat (this includes fish!) but a vegan cannot eat anything that has came from an animal either, basically ruling out dairy products as well.
Vegans do not eat ANYTHING that comes from animals. Ex. cheese, eggs
vegans dont eat anything made from an animal. eg. cheese or eggs. cheese is made from milk which comes from a cow.
Vegetarians will not eat meat, but will consume eggs, cows milk, etc. Vegans won't even eat eggs, etc.
Vegans wont eat anything that comes from an animal, such as dairy products like cheese or milk. Vegetarians only exclude meat and other stuff that is taken from a dead animal.
vegans dont eat eggs or milk or any animal products at all. vegetarians can eat them, i think. depends on each persons definition.
vegans donot eat or drink absolutley anything from a animal, eg milk
Vegetarians don't eat meat. Vegans do not eat anything made by animals, like eggs, milk, etc., (plus they do not eat meat.)
Vegans don't eat anything that has animal in it, like eggs, cheese, milk, honey etc. Vegetarians DO. But personally I think cheese isn't even vegetarian cause they put rennet in that stuff and that's made from animal bladder.
There are even shoes shoes for vegans available. Fake leather.
I didn't think you were trying to be rude at all. Vegans don't eat or wear anything that was produced by animals, Vegetarians (which I am) don't eat meat and don't eat anything that was living including eggs and seafood.
Can I add that I hate stupid people who claim they are vegetarians but eat chicken or eggs and seafood.......your not a vegetarian your a meat eater!!! Morons!
A vegetarian won't eat any part of an animal (this includes chicken and fish, of course. They're animals, not vegetables).
A vegan won't eat any part of an animal either. Plus, they will not consume animal by-products. These by-products include all dairy (milk, cheese, etc), eggs, and honey. Also, there are various ingredients in many foods that contain animal-derived products. Vegans will not eat these. Vegans also will refrain from purchasing other animal by-products, such as wool, fur, or leather.
There are variations of vegetarianism. Lacto-ovo vegetarians will not eat animals, but will consume diary and eggs. Lacto vegetarians will eat dairy, but not eggs or animals. Ovo vegetarians will eat eggs, but not dairy or animals. Sometimes called 'pescatarians' or 'semi-vegetarians', some people will not consume meat such as chicken or red meat, but will eat fish. There are also fruitatarians who will not eat eggs, dairy, animals, or vegetables. They will only eat fruits or vegetables that have fallen and are no longer attatched to the plants, for this would harm the plant otherwise. A fruitatarian diet is not adviseable, for it can result in diabetes and other such effects.
*Note that gelatin (like found in marshmallows and other candies) are not vegetarian-friendly. Gelatin is boiled cartilage, bones, tendons, etc of animals. Certainly, bones, cartilage, and tendons are part of an animal, correct?
A vegan is one of the five types of vegetarians. I believe a began is the most adamant about not eating animals or animal byproducts. No meat, eggs, milk, or oils from animals. I'm not sure of all the other definitions, I'm sure you could find that info somewhere.
Vegetarians can eat cheese, drink milk and eat eggs. Things that come from animals They just can't eat animals.
A vegan cannot even eat things that come from animals. Not even cheese.
A vegan diet consists of absolutely no animal products,no dairy,no eggs,no meat.Vegetarians eat dairy and sometimes eggs.
if i am right vegetarians eat anything but meat.....but vegans wont eat anything that comes from animals or that is made with animals ex: eggs, milk, ect.
Vegans are the vegetable nazi's. Some Vegans go to the extreme as they wont eat any vegetable, till if falls off the plant. As picking could cause the plant pain. Also no dairy for the vegans. They will own nothing from animal based. But obviously chemical based is ok.
If I remember correctly, vegetarians oppose beef and certain other animal products. Vegans oppose ALL animal products to include things made from animals like milk and butter. But I might be a little off on that...
There are so many different forms of Vegitarianism but generally speaking, vegetarianism is the practice of living on products of the plant kingdom, with or without the use of eggs and dairy products, but excluding entirely the consumption of any part of the body of an animal as food (including chicken, fish and seafood). Veganism however may be defined as a way of living which seeks to exclude all animal products for food, clothing, or any other purpose.
vegans don't eat any type of animal products, no meat, eggs, milk, cheese whereas vegeterians just don't eat meat or seafood and such they still eat cheese, milk ,eggs, etc
A vegetarian is someone who chooses not to eat meat, and they basically mind their own business and dont preach. A vegan is someone who gets all up in your face about what you are eating and is totally rude, and cares more about animals then about humans. I respect vegetarians, but I have no respect for vegans. (lose the political agenda)
