Is it possible to make vegan Yorkshire Puddings?

My friend claims this is impossible, but I am sure there must be a way!

They will probably taste different, but here are a couple of recipes.

You could use rice or soy milk and egg replacer, if needed.

Try using oil instead of butter and soy milk instead of regular milk. Don't bake it in the pan juices, just use a little oil instead. I haven't made it this way, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'm not sure what to do about the egg, is there a vegan egg substitute?
