Should a bottle of Vegan red wine be served chilled or at room temp?!

Question:

Should a bottle of Vegan red wine be served chilled or at room temp?

My boyfriend's daughter is cooking us a gourmet Vegan dinner tonight and already gave us a bottle of wine to go with the dinner - but should we chill it?

I don't know the difference either, the bottle actually says it's Vegan red wine made with organic grapes.

I'm not sure about vegan red wine, but have to assume it's similar to normal red wine which is served at room temperature. It's rosé and white that are served chilled. Have a nice meal.

Kind of. In my opinion, red wine is best at slightly below room temperature, around 60 degrees or so.

But, what I really want to know is what is the difference between regular wine and a vegan wine?

Long Live Jambi

No, do not chill it. You would treat it the same as any bottle of red wine and serve it at room temperature.

As the consensus shows room temp is good unless you live in an igloo or the desert!

Organic is as you say organic grapes.
However the vegetarian part is something to do with the filtering process or clarification process.
I'm not sure they do it so much in Europe due to the mad cow thing, but they certainly have used animal blood to clarify red wines.
Ah Smeg! there goes that lovely bottle of wine.

Good source to find out why:

room temp

(All) red wine should always be served room temperature
