Is egg veg or nonveg ?!

Question:

Is egg veg or nonveg ?

Answers:
non.. its an animal by-product

Isn't veg, is animal protein.

it's part of the potato family

i'd say non for sure. it's an embryo that has stopped life so you can eat it. just my opinion. plan on eating a few at breakfast tomorrow. hehe merry christmas everyone

Egg is an undeveloped animal embryo- how vegetarian does that sound to you???

non veg

u mean egg as in vegetable?
well i have learned in school that it is'nt a vegetable.

It is an acceptable food for vegetarians, but not vegans (who adhere to stricter vegetarian rules).

it's a dairy product

Eggs are chicken embryos so I'm thinking they're non-veg.

Veggys are good for you... Eggs have alot of fat in them. Id say nonveg

It's poultry.

Eggs are animal products obviously. So they are not a vegetarian food even though alot of people feel they are.

My sister who is a self-proclaimed carnivore said she will not eat eggs of any kind because she had a fluke bad experience with them once which is a very extreme case that could be used in argument as to why they are not vegetarian/vegan.

It is not a veg, so it definitely nonveg.

It is non-veg . Even Milk can also be taken as non bcoz it is also a product of cows

Egg is defo Non-Veg

An egg is actually nonveg.

But strict vegetarians such as monks will never eat eggs!

But not-very strict vegetarians will eat eggs... they need their proteins!

Its nonveg

Depends upon what you mean by veg.

Is egg a vegetable? No, it's not a plant, it's from an animal.
Is egg vegetarian? Yes, ovo vegetarian.
Is egg vegan? No, it's from an animal.

it is considered as veg........

Egg is non veg

Non veg. It is killing a life when you eat egg.

though it is animal product veg people eat it

If u r a veg n like eggs then its a veg

Eggs we buy in the store are not fertilized. They cannot form embryos. Therefore, they fall in the same category as milk - animal products that did not arise from killing an animal (the hen or cow weren't killed, and an unfertilized egg is already 'dead').

But there are issues of cruelty involved with eggs and dairy. This is why vegans avoid them.

egg is vegeterian if not fertilised

it is veg as well as nonveg.any way happy christmas

it is a nonveg

cage free eggs are considered vegetarian, but its a personal preferance

*you arent killing anything when you eat eggs because the ones they sell at the store arent fertilized and arent able to become chickens.

If you are a ovo vegetarian, it would be ok for you to eat eggs.
