PETA's argument for breast milk in Ben & Jerry's ice cream.?!

I am a former chef and have read the articles one this malarkey, and first of all the butterfat content to breast milk is not right for ice cream making in the first place, second it is not worth while you would need every women in the US and Canada to be flooding the market, and most women who can produce milk only can pump 6-8 per breast, I have had friends who's wife breast feed, so PETA is off there rockers, why not use goat milk, camels, horses or elephants if your worried about the treatment to the cows, even walrus and penguin milk is an alternative, how nutty is there reason to use human milk for ice cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it were anyone else, I would suspect they were just trying to make a point; but PETA tends toward really believing insanity!.

As for using breast milk, I wonder if anyone has considered that breastfeeding is not just a food source but also a bonding mechanism, complete with bonding hormones!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think even PETA agrees with their own argument in this case!.

They were being deliberately outrageous to make a point!. No one really thinks they will milk women to make ice cream!. PETA just wants you to think of milking cows with the same sense of incredulity!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
