Sad truth is that some years are just not good for certain fruits!.
BUT I think the oranges are just beginning to come in from Florida so you may try again in a few weeks!.
If you like California navel oranges than pick a fruit with a uniformly orange skin and that feels firm to the touch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
