Took a job in a high end restaurant so I got decent meals most of the time!.

Grew tomatoes and potatoes in pots - almost for free!.

Butter and Sugar are some expensive foods - you can get a lot of food for that!. We also ate a lot of pasta with tomato sauce, mashed potatoes, big stews like pasta with meat sauce, chicken and only bought items on sale from discount stores or asian markets and would not be picky but rather creative!.

Lastly, when we wanted to go out we went to company cafeterias as they are often subsidised by the companies and you will get a choice of hot food as well as large salat bars!. Found the better food was from the newspapers and banks!. The newspaper cafeterias are also open for dinner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A few stuff available in the menu of less is better:
1) White bread, butter or margarine, cinnamon & white/brown sugars as toppings!.
2) Chinese/Japanese Tofu, top with cheese!. Bake in oven till golden brown!. Green onions and some red chilli as garnish!.
3) Bread, spread yogurt, Japanese fish flakes and shredded seaweed as fillings!.
4) Chinese Egg soup, chinese chicken stock cube for 250ml to 300ml of water!. Boil, add some chopped cabbage, lettures, basil or chinese celery!. Then add the beaten eggs last, so that the eggs will be nice and soft!. Pepper and salt to taste!.

The list goes on!.
