What would be a good side dish to take to a cook out this weekend?!

Question: What would be a good side dish to take to a cook out this weekend!?
It is very hot here and I'd like to steer clear of potato salad, macaroni salad, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Corn salad
Drain and rinse one can of red kidney beans or black beans (or both if you like) and also one can of sliced black olives and pour in a large bowl!.
Drain one can of whole kernel corn, and one can of rotel tomatoes (just drain the liquid off, don't rinse)!. Add these to the bowl!.
Season with Tony's Cajun Seasoning!.
Add about a half-cup of Kraft Tuscan House Italian dressing and mix together, add more dressing if desired!.
Serve with fritos or tortilla chips, sour cream, and fresh tomatoes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For a dessert, try a fruit salad with seasonal fruits like berries, kiwi, melon balls and pineapple chunks!. If you're feeling a little "extra", provide individual angel food cakes so people can pile the fruit in!. A very light honey lemon drizzle would really make this a winner!

For a side dish, baked beans are tastey, simple and travel very well!. Try those with some crumbled bacon baked in and maybe just a touch of BBQ sauce!. Find a good recipe at allrecipes!.com and make your search criteria for the "highest rating"!. I found an awesome recipe for baked beans there a while ago, but cant recall the specifics!.

As another simple alternative, maybe a nice spinach dip with pita points!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Beans seems to be a popular answer!.
