What would be the highest calorie, the lightest food one can carry if a person gets lost for 7 days out in the wild!?

Let's say water is no problem and don't have to carry it!. Fire and shelter available!.

Assume 2000 Kcal!. a day!. What ONE food would be most efficient to carry based on weight per Calorie!? And also would stay fresh and won't melt or spoil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
MRE's or those 1200-2400 calorie Energy bars that you portion out to six meals!.

As far as standard food that's light to carry and high in calories, I would suggest Cashews, they are 600 calories per serving(3oz) or Beef Jerky 350 calories per serving(3oz)

granola bars, peanuts, peanut butter crackers, I know you only asked for one, but these are some choices, since they are light weight, full of protein, and will not spoil in a week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
