Aside from the very valuable nutrients in it, they're delicious and make some foods edible!. I mean how could you eat dry grains in the morning without milk (or yogurt in Europe)!. Cheeseburgers wouldn't exist (*tear*), Quiche would be scrambled eggs and broccoli, and, honestly, how would most restaurants even stay open without cheese to cover the taste of their rotten meat!? They could always over season it, but cheese makes a healthier alternative!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most of them provide calcium (milk, cheese, yogurts etc!.) which are vital for healthy bones and teeth and growth for growing children too!.

A high calcium diet which involves milk, cheese, yogurt is important for a healthy diet, It helps to control body fat and It helps to burn energy!.

They actually theoretically aren't, humans were not meant to drink fluids produced by other mammals to benefit their offspring!.

Earlier in our history, they were our best source for Calcium and other trace minerals, since then!. We have other options (including supplements)!.

When you drink milk, it came from a lactating mother whose body thinks its feeding its baby, it is then superheated and bottled!.
