If you found something in a food product, would you send it back to the company if they asked for it?!
I found a chunk of wood in a bag of hash browns, and the company wants me to send it back to them in exchange for $4 worth of coupons!. If I no longer have it, I don't have proof!. What should I do!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take a photo of the product, and if I were you, I would demand something a bit better than $4 in coupons!.!.!.my sister once found a piece of metal in her yogurt, and got free yogurt for like a year!.!.!.!.she was really really pissed when she was on the phone with the people because her 5 year old daughter was the one eating eat!. Stand your ground with them, it could have been a dangerous incident!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I'd tell them that you no longer have it but you just wanted them to know about it!. They may be thankful anyway and send you the coupons!.

take the loss who cares if you really wanted wood chips in your brown just tell them you lost it threw it out cause you thought there was no point in keeping it!. but you won't get any free hashbrown out of it with out the wood what they are worried about is being reported or sued and if the problem is not seriously reoccuring why would you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
