I have two machines that both work great!. I have a Vita-Mix which is very similar to the commercial ones you see used at Jamba Juice and Starbucks!. It works so well it even pulverizes raspberry seeds!. The other, and definitely less costly, machine is called a bullet blender!. You can buy it at Wal-Mart, Walgreens and many other places!. The bullet works great for smoothies but leaves the seeds intact!. I will give you a link for both!. The bullet is about the size of a coffee cup and I like it a lot because my kids can make their own smoothies very quickly with little mess right in the 16oz bullet cups that come with the machine!. When I make smoothies for the whole family I usually use the Vita-Mix!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I recently bought the Jack La Lanne juicer, wow it's great but a bit of a mess to clean up because of the pulp!. I've never tasted juice this delicious!. It's a great way to get rid of carrots, apples strawberries and other fruits that are getting too soft to eat!. Instead of using a processor, I've been using a mini chopper for many things and it's much easier to clean up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The Vitamix blender line is the one you're looking for!. My favourite veggie restaurant makes their smoothies with it, and the vegans/fruitarians I know swear by it!. It's fairly pricey, but will puree anything with ease!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
