I know bagels are super fatty so I have been eating a corn muffin instead, is that healthy to eat for breakfast!?> what is the calorie and fat intake!? any other suggestion of healthy things besides fruit & yogurt!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

·Peanut butter on whole wheat (or multigrain) bread w/ sliced bananas or strawberries on top

·Blueberry Pancakes w/flaxseed
·Eggs
-Omelet with spinach, tomatoes & cheddar cheese or any combo of veggies
-Baked egg w/asparagus & parmesan cheese
-Scrambled eggs w/tomatoes, chives & cheese or any other veggies
-Frittata w/various veggies & cheese
·Banana, strawberry and flaxseed smoothie
·Quiche
-yogurt with fruit

Bagels hardly have any fat!. They have lots of calories because they are dense and they weigh a lot,so the serving size is large!. A medium bagel has about 300 kcal, almost all from carbohydrates!.
Corn muffins, if made in a small muffin pan have about 180 kcal per serving!. If you make them in a larger pan or if you buy them they probably have much more calories!. A large corn muffin has about 300 kcal, and the fat content is variable because it depends on how it's made!. Southern style muffins and store bought muffins can have up to a tablespoon of fat per serving (often lard or other bad fats)!. Overall, they are not much better for you than bagels, and the ones made with lard or oil have way more fat than bagels!.
Oatmeal is very healthy, and you can jazz it up with a tablespoon of raisins,couple walnuts, cinnamon, or a teaspoon of PB!.
You can also buy hot cereal that is made from mixed grains- oats, barley, wheat!. It is made by Quaker, and you can find it next to the normal cereals!. I like it because it keeps me full for a long time because it's whole grain, and it's delicious!.
There are lots of cold cereals that are also good for you, but I hate cold cereal so I can't give you any recommendations!.
Egg white omelets with vegetables are also very healthy!. If you don't have problems with high cholesterol, you can use whole eggs!.
If you usually eat on the go and like baking, it's very easy to make your own granola bars that have much less sugar and more protein than the store bought kind!. They are also about 10 times cheaper!. You can find tons of recipes on any cooking website!.
