Which is more popular with chips, white or malt vinegar!?

In the north of England and in Scotland,white vinegar is most popular, in the south of England malt is preferred malt!. The more whiskey that is consumed in any given area, the more likely the people there are to prefer white vinegar!.!.this is actually a study proven fact!.!.!.!.and one of million pieces of trivia I carry around in my head for no reason that I can imagine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If I get them from the chippy its definitely onion vinegar, but at home I use malt, but onion is way more yummy=]
