Answers:
Usually fresh and then if I can't get what I want, frozen!.!.never canned!.

It's unlikely that you'll get pesticide poisoning from fresh produce especially after it's been washed unless you have a supersensitivity to the chemicals used to grow them!. It is possible for some trace elements of the chemicals to enter your system even when the food has been washed, but it's not enough to make you sick!.

If you're really concerned you can go with organic or frozen!. Organic of course is grown with non chemical methods and frozen fruits and vegetables are washed, frozen at their peak and packaged on the (corporate) farm so often the quality of frozen vegetables is better than the fresh vegetables that may be available at the time (you never see bruises, bad spots or discolouration on frozen vegetables and fruit) and there is no difference in nutritional values between fresh and frozen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I buy fresh, whenever I can!.!.!.!.!. In the winter, I do buy more frozen veggies though!. The only canned vegetables I'll buy are beans (for bean salad - or baked beans)!. Anything else canned tastes disgusting:) !.!.!. The produce departments sell special wash products for your produce, if you're concerned about the pesticides!. And, it's cheaper than paying for bogus "organic" produce (which is watered from rain falling through polluted skies, and uses manure from cows for fertilizer - and who knows what the cows ate!?)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I buy mostly fresh, because to me they taste the best and are the healthiest!. If you think you have pesticide poisoning, talk to whomever sells you the veggies (the manufacturer) and ask them!. Pesticide poisoning is possible yet unlikely; either way, they're the people to talk to about it!. Generally, though, fresh vegetables are the best!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I buy all three!. It's nice to have the frozen and canned since they don't spoil so soon!. But some things I just have to have fresh like mushrooms, onions and potatoes!. I don't like the pre-chopped or sliced ones!. And always fresh greens, asparagus, leeks, celery, green beans, etc!.

Have you ever had canned asparagus or canned potatoes!? Blech!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only reason I buy frozen is because fresh doesn't keep very long when you are cooking for one!. I like frozen peas, but canned green beans!. I buy frozen broccoli!. I can't digest a lot of fibrous veggies!. I LOVE roasted aspargus but it doesn't like me so I have to buy canned!. I know, no comparison!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think you are anymore at risk either way- at least with fresh veggies YOU KNOW how well they've been washed!.!.!.!.and it's crazy, bu those extra vitamins and minerals might just help ward off the very cancers you are worried about!.!.!.!.!.!.!.just fresh veggies have gotten soooo expensive!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I usually buy frozen because I can't go to the grocery store often enough to buy fresh, I don't have the transportation or time to do that!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I usually buy frozen!. Some veggies taste better from the can!. I only use fresh on special occasions or if they only sell it fresh!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i only get canned peas and sometimes corn everything else freshWww@FoodAQ@Com

All fresh but the peas, those are frozen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

YES FRESH IS BETTER THAN FROZENWww@FoodAQ@Com
