How much time should I leave to defrost my small fridge and freezer?!


Question: How much time should I leave to defrost my small fridge and freezer!?
I'm at college and my dad is coming to pick me up tomorrow around noon, and my parents said I need to defrost my fridge first!. I don't want to start till I have to because my roommate still has food in there!. It is a fridge and freezer, but the freezer is on top not in the fridge with separate sections and doors!.
