I have just made a cheesecake this afternoon and left it in the fridge covered with cling wrap!. Will it spoil if I take it out tomorrow morning and leave it at room temperature for 2 hours!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
No it won't spoil in only 2 hours at room temperature after refrigeration any more than a regular cake would!. But if you are worried about it - leave it in the fridge until you are ready to serve!. I always liked my cheesecake with a little chill on it anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's warm and humid where you stay it's definitely not going to be good enough to consume!. And besides, irrespective of any weather, some cheesecakes will start 'weeping' or leaching out some liquid if left out for any length of time!. My suggestion- try and keep it in the refridgerator till it's time to serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it is freshly made, it will not be spoilt if you leave it at room temp for 2 hours!. But if you have put it in the fridge and remove it and leave it at room temp for 2 hours, I bet it will be spoilt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Food safety guidelines say that wet food will spoil if left in room temperature for more than 2 hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should fart on it, make it poisonous and throw it out, bleh!. I buy some cheesecake now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no it won't you will need to keep it away from heat or sunlite!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes it will idiotWww@FoodAQ@Com
