Coke (Coca Cola) has been known to eat up car battery acid!.
A friend of mine was having problems starting his car!. He raised the hood of his car and saw there was a lot of acid corroding the battery!. He heard that (regular) Coke was good for eating battery acid, so he tried it!. It worked!
It makes you wonder, if Coke is strong enough to eat up battery acid, then why are we drinking it!? Ha!
