Aside from an adoring audience, what do you love about cooking?!
Answers: I really like my own cooking; I know just how I like my steaks, my desserts, what ever I prepare, I know just how I want it. Of course, I enjoy eating out too.
Eating it of course!
Experimenting, making stuff up ... I hate following recipes (even when I DO follow a recipe, I change it!)
My "audience" (my family) isn't exactly "adoring" but ... with 3 dogs, even my culinary "failures" are appreciated!
I cook when I'm nervous sometimes. I like to cook Italian especially when I'm worrying
I love more than anything else is that when the steak or chicken is "just right", and the rest is good also.
I had a steak tonight that was perfect and if it had been twice the size I still would have eaten it all.
I enjoy the taste and smell of good foods.
I don't enjoy cooking at all unless it is a sweet treat- cookies, brownies or cakes. Every dinner leaves me frustrated at the varied tastes of my family. They would like to have pizza everyday. Oh, well.....
