Why do chefs and most restaurants use plain white plates to serve people just curious?!
White is the purest color to put food on that shows the natural color of the food and its ingredients.
Since fine dining is not just about taste, but also presentation, you want to be able to see all that as clearly as possible.
Colored plates limit you to what color the ingredients need to be in order to look nice on that plate.
Plus, white is the most common color.
