How can i plan an affordable 30th birthday in New York City?!

I am turning the BIG 3-0 in about 3 months. I would love to get together with the girls (about 10 of us) and have a fun, affordable, grown up night out. I was thinking a nice lounge with the 3 must: good music, food, and drinks. I would also like somewhere that has a dance floor. I am very big on ambiance. As I am not to familiar with the city, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
