This dumb mom says I can't bring cashews to a birthday party?!

Question: This dumb mom says I can't bring cashews to a birthday party?
What's so bad about cashews? I asked her, and she said nothing, she just had this thousand-yard stare. I don't know what to do. Can you help me?

someone is obviously allergic, just avoid bringing nuts all together. not worth risking it.

and yeah, sorry but like the person below said, cashews arent really party food, its just like bringing a knife to a gun fight, in this case the cashews are the knife.

cashews dont fit in, get over it. she probly wants you to bring some decent food to the party.

It is best if you follow the answer of the host lady and do not
bring "food items" she does not approve. As to the reason, it
is best not to ask. You are only a guest in her place -- she knows
best the reason and it is none of your business. (Hope you do not
mind). Cashews are allergic to some and could be that they do
not fit into the menu she is offering. Do not think and worry twice
over the matter, just go to the party and enjoy, voila.

Your mother probably heard that now kids are so stupid that if thay are allegic to them they are not smart enough not to eat them. There prescjhools now that won't let kids bring peanut butter and jelly sandwich to school for lunch. Your mother had that stare because she knows its all bull****
and wonders how anybody over the age of 40 ever made it with out car seats, helmets when riding a bike, and soft drinks with sugar.

Lolol why would you bring cashews..It's just that most people prefer chocolate covered cashews or chips..but not just regular healthy nuts..

Opinion

lol thats pretty funny. maybe she doesn't like cashews? if it's a potluck, maybe bring a whole tray of assorted nuts instead of just a few cashews?

Some people may be allergic
