Any suggestions on what to serve at my son's 18th birthday party?!
My son's birthday is October 31st, Halloween!. We are having a birthday/costume party for him at the firehall (where he was just voted in as a senior member when he turns 18), and we booked a great DJ for this event!. Oh, and also any suggestions on decorations that will look great, but won't break the bank would be appreciated!. We already put a chunk of money into it!. Find out what he likes to eat, like BBQ, Italian, Sushi, etc!. For cheap Halloween-ish decorations that won't cost you much, just find some cheap black fabric, tatter it (make it look ancient and scary looking), and drape it around the place like curtains (make little ties here and there to hike it up and give it a grand haunted mansion look)!. There's also the usual fake spiderwebs you could use!. And if you want to use a lot of jack-o-lanterns, but can't afford the cost of that many pumpkins, just use paper bags and make little cutout faces on each of them!.
